Mercedes-Benz has confirmed its SLS AMG supercar will bow out at the 2013 LA and Tokyo Motor Shows with a limited-numbers GT Final Edition. The 350 examples of the SLS AMG GT Final Edition available are said to represent the ‘last opportunity’ for interested buyers to purchase an SLS before it gets pensioned off – perhaps in favour of a newer, smaller AMG-built sports car. The first mainstream hybrid with a six-speed manual, the 2011 Honda CR-Z, will sticker at a shade less than $20,000 when it arrives on the market on Aug. 24. Honda announced pricing for the sporty compact two-seater on Tuesday, and a base car with the manual starts at $19,950, including a $750 destination charge.
This is the first image of the Honda CR-V concept, a vehicle that previews the fourth generation CR-V expected to be revealed at the LA auto show in November. The new CR-V's thinly veiled concept precursor highlights a new front face, sculpted bodysides and kick-up DLO shape that will appear on the production car. Inside, Honda claims the new CR-V will offer an ‘accommodating and spacious interior' with a ‘host of new possibilities'.
